Job Summary

Wellhaven Home Care Charleston is seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of seniors and adults in need. As a Flexible Schedule Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to work flexible schedules that fit your lifestyle, while providing essential care and support to our clients in their private homes or facility settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily living tasks: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene

• Following individualized care plans and monitoring client health

• Providing medication reminders and support

• Offering companionship and emotional encouragement

• Ensuring safety through mobility assistance and proper transfers

• Assisting with meal prep and nutritional support

• Documenting care accurately and reporting changes to the office

• Collaborating with families, healthcare teams, and staff

Requirements

• Have experience working with dementia and long-term care (a plus)

• Be physically able to assist with hands-on care and mobility

• Be reliable, compassionate, and communicative

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent

Position Details

• Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour

• Expected Hours: 12–36 per week
