Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily living needs.

• Provide assistance with light housekeeping and household tasks.

• Support clients with mobility and the safe use of equipment, including wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices.

• Promote a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for clients.

• Accurately document services provided in accordance with agency policies and procedures.

• Report any changes in a client's condition or incidents promptly to the supervising RN.

• Maintain positive, professional relationships with clients and their families.

• Protect client confidentiality and maintain accurate records.

• Participate in required supervision and training in accordance with New York State regulations.

• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, punctuality, and compassion.

• Perform additional appropriate duties as assigned by the supervising nurse.
