Serenity Hospice PA is growing, and we’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team serving patients and families in the Wyoming Valley area.

THE WEEKEND SCHEDULE YOU’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR

Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Monday – Thursday: OFF

Total: 32 hours per week

YOUR ROLE

As a Weekend On-Call RN with Serenity Hospice PA, you’ll provide compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting patients and their families during an incredibly important time in their lives.

You’ll work closely with physicians, caregivers, and our interdisciplinary team to ensure patients receive exceptional care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients

• Respond to patient and family needs during scheduled on-call hours

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing evaluations

• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans

• Provide symptom management and comfort-focused care

• Educate patients and families regarding medications, disease progression, and hospice services

• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Provide emotional support to patients and their loved ones

• Advocate for patient comfort, dignity, and quality of life

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

A compassionate, dependable, organized RN who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and working as part of a team.

✔️ Active Pennsylvania RN license
✔️ Hospice or home health experience preferred
✔️ Excellent communication and organizational skills
✔️ Compassionate, patient-centered approach
✔️ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
✔️ Ability to respond to patient needs during scheduled on-call hours
