Position Summary

The Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation, meal service, dishwashing, sanitation, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining experience for residents and guests.

What You'll Do

• Prepare dining rooms and serving areas for meals

• Deliver meals and beverages to residents in a friendly and timely manner

• Assist residents during meal service as needed

• Follow therapeutic diets and meal service instructions

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the department

• Store food and supplies properly according to regulations

• Work collaboratively with dietary staff, nursing staff, and leadership

• Help create a positive dining experience that promotes resident satisfaction

• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures

• Previous dietary or food service experience preferred but not required
