PERMANENT WEEKLY SCHEDULE

Position: Experienced In-Home Caregiver

Location: Lyles, Tennessee 37098

Employment Type: Part-Time

Assignment: Permanent, Recurring Weekly Schedule

Client: Older Male Veteran

Weekly Hours: 16 Hours

YOUR WEEKLY SCHEDULE

MONDAY: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM | 5 HOURS

WEDNESDAY: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM | 5 HOURS

THURSDAY: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 6 HOURS

16 CONSISTENT HOURS EVERY WEEK

Additional hours and backup coverage opportunities may become available.

This assignment is intended for a caregiver seeking a consistent, long-term weekly schedule rather than occasional or temporary work.

RELIABILITY AND CONSISTENCY ARE ESSENTIAL!

We are seeking someone who can make a dependable, ongoing commitment to this schedule.

Punctuality, reliable attendance, professional communication, and completion of every scheduled shift are mandatory expectations.

Our clients should never be left waiting, wondering whether their caregiver will arrive, or worrying about unnecessary disruptions to their care.

ABOUT THIS CAREGIVING ASSIGNMENT

Helping Hearts USA LLC is seeking an experienced, compassionate, outgoing, and dependable caregiver for a permanent, part-time in-home care assignment in Lyles, Tennessee.

The ideal candidate will have professional experience with dementia and memory care, hands-on personal care, mobility assistance, and supporting individuals who require patience, reassurance, and individualized attention.

We are looking for a caregiver who takes initiative, remains actively engaged throughout every shift, and demonstrates exceptional punctuality, dependability, professionalism, and compassion.

This is an active caregiving position, not a sitting assignment.

CAREGIVER RESPONSIBILITIES

DEMENTIA, MEMORY CARE & BEHAVIORAL SUPPORT

• Provide compassionate supervision, reassurance, and gentle redirection.

• Support a client experiencing dementia, PTSD, and memory-related challenges.

• Remain calm, patient, and professional during periods of confusion, frustration, or agitation.

• Encourage meaningful conversation, appropriate activities, and social engagement.

• Help maintain consistent, familiar daily routines.

• Observe and promptly report changes in behavior, mood, or cognitive functioning.

• Maintain a respectful, supportive, and reassuring environment.

PERSONAL CARE & ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING

• Assist with dressing and undressing.

• Provide grooming and daily personal hygiene assistance.

• Assist with toileting and incontinence care.

• Help change protective undergarments as needed.

• Provide bathing and showering assistance.

• Maintain the client's comfort, dignity, privacy, and independence.

• Follow individualized personal care instructions.

MOBILITY, BATHING & FALL PREVENTION

• Assist with safe walking and mobility.

• Monitor for occasional unsteadiness and balance difficulties.

• Assist with appropriate use of a shower chair and grab bars.

• Provide necessary supervision during bathing and movement.

• Follow established fall-prevention and safety precautions.

• Report changes in mobility or physical condition promptly.

• Follow all approved care plan instructions and safe assistance procedures.

COMPANIONSHIP, ENGAGEMENT & HOUSEKEEPING

• Provide meaningful companionship and conversation.

• Encourage participation in appropriate daily activities.

• Remain attentive, alert, and actively involved throughout the shift.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment.

• Complete assigned light housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning responsibilities.

• Assist with daily routines and approved household activities.

• Complete accurate electronic documentation during every shift.

• Communicate concerns, observations, and changes in condition directly to the office.

Caregivers are expected to remain engaged, attentive, and productive throughout their assigned shifts.

Respond to confusion, frustration, and challenging behaviors with understanding, reassurance, and professionalism.

ACTIVE ENGAGEMENT

Remain focused on your client. Personal cell phone use, earbuds, and unnecessary distractions are not permitted while providing care.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Follow the care plan, complete assigned responsibilities, document care accurately, and communicate concerns promptly.

THIS IS AN ACTIVE CAREGIVING POSITION, NOT A SITTING ASSIGNMENT.

REQUIRED CAREGIVER UNIFORM & PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE

All Helping Hearts USA LLC caregivers are required to report to every scheduled shift in the approved company uniform.

REQUIRED UNIFORM

• Solid navy-blue scrub top

• Solid navy-blue scrub pants

• Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes appropriate for caregiving

• Clean, neat, and professional appearance

• Hair secured when necessary for safety

• Appropriate personal hygiene

• No strong fragrances

Caregivers must arrive properly dressed, on time, and ready to begin working at the start of every scheduled shift.

Professional appearance and compliance with company uniform requirements are mandatory.

QUALIFICATIONS & EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years of age.

• Possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Have previous professional caregiving, personal care, or home-care experience.

• Have experience assisting with activities of daily living.

• Dementia and memory-care experience strongly preferred.

• Experience with bathing, dressing, incontinence care, and mobility assistance.

• Ability to respond to challenging behaviors calmly and professionally.

• Demonstrate excellent attendance, punctuality, and dependability.

• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Have reliable personal transportation.

• Possess a valid driver's license and active automobile insurance.

• Maintain reliable access to a smartphone for required electronic documentation.

• Be able to safely perform the essential physical responsibilities of the assignment, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Successfully complete required background checks, reference verification, screening, orientation, and onboarding.

• Follow all company policies, attendance expectations, and individualized care plans.
