We are seeking a dependable and flexible Dietary Cook to join our dietary team at a skilled nursing facility. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in preparing quality meals and can help ensure residents receive excellent service and nutrition every day.

Qualifications for Dietary Cook:

• Previous cooking experience required

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

• Familiarity with dietary restrictions and modified diets

• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

Responsibilities of Dietary Cook:

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements

• Assist with shift coverage for call-outs, vacations, or staffing needs

• Ensure meals meet state and federal guidelines for skilled nursing facilities

• Follow therapeutic and modified diets, including low-sodium, diabetic, and pureed diets

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment

• Monitor food temperatures, storage procedures, and sanitation practices

• Work collaboratively with the dietary team to support smooth daily operations
