We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team at ExcelCare At the Pines, a 151-bed Medicare and Medicaid-certified nursing home in Atlantic City, New Jersey. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, providing exceptional service to our residents and staff.

As a Maintenance Assistant at ExcelCare At the Pines, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the facility is in good working condition

• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff

• Assist in the maintenance of the facility's equipment and machinery

• Contribute to the upkeep of the facility's grounds and exterior areas

• Perform other maintenance-related tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or other facility staff

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or a related field

• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and supplies as needed

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to facility policies and procedures
