Rosewood Center is under new management and looking for a friendly, dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our evening/night team! If you enjoy being the first welcoming face (or voice) for residents, families, and visitors, we’d love to have you on board.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff in a professional, courteous manner

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, take accurate messages, and route calls appropriately

• Monitor building entrances and manage visitor sign-in/sign-out procedures

• Maintain security awareness and follow facility safety and emergency procedures

• Communicate with nursing staff and leadership regarding visitor needs, concerns, or urgent situations

• Maintain accurate logs, records, and shift notes, and pass along key information at shift change

• Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and sorting mail or deliveries

• Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming

• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA

• Work cooperatively with residents, staff, and visitors

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Previous front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred, but not required

• Basic computer skills and comfortable with phones and data entry

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work evening/night shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled

• Ability to stay calm, alert, and professional in a healthcare setting

• Positive and respectful attitude
