About the Role of Activity Director:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Activity Director to join our team at White Oak Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Toledo, OH. As an essential member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing engaging activity programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Activity Director Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate activity programs that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being for our residents

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify individualized activity plans that meet the unique needs of each resident

• Supervise and train activity assistants, volunteers, and other staff members to ensure optimal delivery of activity services

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures

• Monitor and assess program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes

• Develop and manage program budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources

• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes resident engagement, socialization, and overall well-being

Activity Director Requirements:

• Certification or at least 5 years Prior experience as an Activity Director required

• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills

• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

• Familiarity with activity programming and regulations
