Dietary Supervisor Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the activities of the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and sanitation practices

• Supervise and train dietary staff, ensuring effective communication and teamwork

• Maintain accurate records of food preparation, consumption, and waste management

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as HIPAA and OSHA

• Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and prepare special diets and meals for patients and residents

• Monitor and maintain a clean and safe food service environment

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the dietary department

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement plans

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, residents, and staff

Dietary Supervisor Requirements

• Prior experience in a dietary setting, preferable in healthcare
