RN Registered Nurse Emergency Room ER | New Haven, CT

Take the next step in your nursing career with a 10-week Travel Emergency Room RN assignment at a Level I Trauma Center in New Haven, Connecticut. This opportunity offers 36 guaranteed hours per week, night shifts, and the chance to care for patients in a high-acuity emergency department.

Assignment Details:

• Location: New Haven, CT

• Specialty: Emergency Room

• Job Type: Travel Contract

• Assignment Length: 10 weeks

• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Schedule: 4 x 12-hour shifts

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

• Charting System: EPIC

• Facility Type: Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center

• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:6

• Floating: May be required to other campuses and the ED observation unit

• Local Restriction: Candidates residing within 75 miles are not accepted.

• Flu Vaccine: Required; no exemptions

• COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required

Requirements:

• Active CT RN license

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience preferred; candidates with 1.5 years may be considered with Level I trauma or travel experience

• Level I Trauma experience required

• Current ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications required; TNS may be accepted as a TNCC substitute

• Ability to provide emergency care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

• Experience with high-acuity emergency cases, including trauma, stroke, cardiac emergencies, and critical care

• EPIC experience preferred
