Night Shift

Hours: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

This position is ideal for an STNA who enjoys working overnight and wants to be part of a dependable nursing team focused on quality resident care.

CNA/STNA Responsibilities

As a Night Shift CNA/STNA, you will:

• Provide direct care according to each resident’s individualized plan of care

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, toileting, and continence care

• Assist with mobility, repositioning, transfers, and other resident needs

• Provide dining and hydration assistance as needed

• Perform routine safety and comfort checks throughout the night

• Respond promptly and compassionately to resident needs

• Observe residents and report changes or concerns to the Charge Nurse

• Accurately document care, interventions, and relevant events

• Follow infection prevention and control procedures

• Help maintain a safe, quiet, clean, and comfortable environment

• Work collaboratively with nurses and other members of the care team

• Protect resident dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and rights

Qualifications

• Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) status required

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care

• Dependable and professional

• Ability to manage priorities effectively

• Long-term care or geriatric care experience preferred
