About the Role:

As a Certified Dietary Manager at Eastview Healthcare & Senior Living, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dietary department, including food preparation, menu planning, and nutrition services. Your expertise will help us maintain a high level of patient satisfaction, ensuring that our residents receive the nutritious meals they need to recover and thrive. Candidates should possess the knowledge and skills to follow customized meal plans, manage food allergies and special dietary needs, and implement quality control measures to ensure safe and appealing food service.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the dietary department, including food preparation, menu planning, and nutrition services
• Manage food allergies and special dietary needs, including pediatric and geriatric nutrition
• Implement quality control measures to ensure safe and appealing food service
• Supervise and train dietary staff, including cooks, servers, and food handlers
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including food production records and patient meal accounts
• Partner with other clinical departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration

Requirements:

• Certified Dietary Manager certification
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and staff
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
