Job Summary:

Gulfside Health & Rehab, a renowned provider of short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team in Clearwater, FL. As a key member of our leadership team, the Assistant Director of Nursing will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents while fostering a positive and supportive work environment for our staff.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement effective care plans, policies, and procedures

• Conduct rounds and provide feedback to staff to improve patient care and outcomes

• Lead and mentor a team of licensed nurses, encouraging professional growth and development

• Participate in surveys and inspections, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare partners

• Assist in managing budgets, inventory, and supplies for the department

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Florida

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar position in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

• Ideal candidate has strong survey outcomes in a previous Assistant Director of Nursing role
