Director of Recreation

The Grand at Great Neck is hiring a Director of Recreation to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. This is a leadership role focused on enriching the lives of our residents through dynamic and engaging recreational programs. If you're a compassionate and dynamic leader with a passion for creating meaningful activities, we want you on our team!

Pay Range: $70,000.00 - 80,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan & Lead Recreation Programs: Design, organize, implement, and evaluate engaging activity programs that cater to the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.

• Staffing & Leadership: Assess departmental staffing needs and assign sufficient activity personnel for each shift, ensuring the highest standard of service.

• Training & Development: Lead in-service training programs that equip your team with the skills needed to deliver exceptional activities and care.

• Equipment & Supplies: Oversee the ordering and maintenance of equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is operational and available when needed.

• Collaboration: Build and maintain strong working relationships with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure a holistic, person-centered approach to resident care.
