Director of Nursing (DON)

Beaufont Health & Rehab Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and oversee all aspects of resident care services.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all nursing department operations.

• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, company policies, and federal/state regulations.

• Lead staffing, recruitment, retention, and scheduling efforts.

• Manage infection prevention and quality assurance programs.

• Investigate and resolve resident, family, and staff concerns.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote positive resident outcomes.

• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for nursing staff.

• Monitor clinical outcomes and implement corrective action plans as needed.

• Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation and respond to clinical, staffing, and operational issues as necessary.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.

• Previous nursing leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.

• Strong knowledge of nursing regulations, survey processes, and quality measures.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Position Requirements: Must be available for 24-hour on-call responsibilities and provide leadership support during emergencies, staffing challenges, and resident care concerns.
