Full-Time Massage Therapist – Hospice Care

Serenity Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dependable Massage Therapist to join our growing Lehigh Valley team. This unique opportunity allows you to use therapeutic touch to provide comfort, relaxation, and meaningful support to hospice patients during one of life’s most vulnerable stages.

Our Massage Therapist will work closely with the interdisciplinary hospice team to provide individualized services based on each patient’s condition, preferences, and plan of care.

Responsibilities:

Provide gentle, patient-centered massage therapy in homes, facilities, and other care settings

Adapt techniques to each patient’s medical condition, comfort level, and individual needs

Help reduce discomfort, anxiety, muscle tension, and restlessness

Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and hospice team members

Document visits accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record

Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team communication

Maintain professional boundaries and follow all hospice policies and safety standards

Travel throughout the assigned Lehigh Valley territory

Qualifications

Current Pennsylvania Massage Therapist license

Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program

Compassionate and comfortable working with patients who have serious or terminal illnesses

Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Ability to work independently while remaining an active member of the hospice team

Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance

Hospice, palliative care, geriatric, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required

Familiarity with electronic medical records is a plus
