Registered Echo Technician / Sonographer

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Adult Echocardiography Technologist to join an acute care cardiology team in New York City.

Assignment Details:

• Position: Registered Echo Technician / Sonographer

• Specialty: Adult Echocardiography

• Location: New York, NY 10016

• Contract Duration: 14 weeks

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Requirements:

• Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technologist training program, including qualifying military training.

• Associate degree and completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum 3 years of Registered Echo Technician/Sonographer experience.

• Experience performing adult cardiac scans required.

• Current BLS certification or CPR certification.

• Must hold either of the following credentials:

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS.

  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI.

• RDMS certification alone is not accepted.

• Stress testing experience preferred.
