Full Time Position: Tuesday – Friday 7am-3pm & Saturday 7am-4pm.

Join our team at Highfield Gardens Care Center, a leading sub-acute and long term care facility in Great Neck, New York, as we seek a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Housekeeping to lead our housekeeping team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our residents.

About the Role as Assistant Director of Housekeeping:

As an Assistant Director of Housekeeping, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing Housekeeping Operations: Managing and coordinating the activities of housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring productivity, and ensuring timely completion of duties.

• Quality Control: Inspecting resident rooms, common areas, and other facilities to ensure compliance with infection control, sanitation, and safety standards.

• Staff Development: Training and mentoring housekeeping staff to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional service and meet the needs of our residents.

• Budget Management: Assisting in the preparation and management of housekeeping budgets, including monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

• Compliance: Ensuring housekeeping operations comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and facility policies.

Assistant Director of Housekeeping Requirements:

• Prior experience in a housekeeping or hospitality management role preffered
