• Full-time schedule: Saturday through Wednesday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM

What you’ll do

• Lead and assist with engaging group activities such as games, music, crafts, socials, celebrations, and more

• Visit residents one-on-one in their rooms, especially those who can’t attend group programs

• Help plan and take part in community outings

• Facilitate outdoor activities, including supervising the designated resident smoking area

• Serve residents across all units, including our subacute, long-term care, and short-term skilled residents

• Encourage participation, build relationships, and learn what makes each resident unique

• Document resident participation and share observations with the Activities Director and care team

What you’ll need

• A warm, outgoing, patient personality and a genuine interest in working with seniors and adults with medical needs

• Valid California driver’s license

• Reliable transportation to and from work

• Willingness to work weekends and afternoon/evening hours

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

• Prior experience in activities, senior care, or skilled nursing is welcome but not required

Schedule

• Full-time, Saturday through Wednesday

• 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM

• On-site position
