As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by facilitating engaging activities and promoting socialization.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and outings, to meet the diverse needs and interests of our residents

• Encourage socialization and community building among residents through group activities, events, and one-on-one interactions

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments as needed to ensure resident engagement and satisfaction

• Collaborate with the activities director and other team members to ensure seamless implementation of activities and events

• Maintain accurate records of activities, including attendance and resident feedback

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred

• 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting or similar environment

• Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
