Battle Creek Health Care Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Unit Manager (RN) to join our team at our Battle Creek, MI facility. As a Unit Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care for our residents and upholding our center's commitment to excellence.

About the Role:

As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for managing the unit with professionalism and adaptability, maintaining exceptional documentation standards, and communicating effectively with residents, families, and staff. You will also train and guide employees, assist with orientation sessions, and provide leadership skills to mentor and train staff. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage the unit with professionalism and adaptability

• Maintain exceptional documentation standards and adhere to required deadlines

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff

• Train and guide employees until they are capable and confident in completing all necessary paperwork for the units

• Assist with orientation sessions for new employees under the direction of the DON

Requirements:

• Current RN license

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Ability to remain positive and professional in high-stress environments

• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train staff

• Commitment to resident care and upholding unit integrity
