Position Summary:

The Platform Lead has technical responsibility for the Company's AI, internal applications, and automations, built as an agentic harness over a governed data foundation. The role demands breadth across distributed systems, cloud data architecture, agentic AI, security, and application engineering, with deep expertise in several of these areas. The primary duties of this position involve the performance of work requiring advanced knowledge in a field of science/learning, which require the consistent exercise of discretion and judgment.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field of science/learning, or advanced knowledge of same through ten (10) or more years of demonstrated equivalent engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Hands-on experience architecting and operating a cloud data platform (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks) in production, including responsibility for cost and performance. Experience with more than one (1) such platform, or formal experience evaluating and selecting between platforms, is strongly preferred, as this role leads the platform-selection decision.

  • Production experience building applications backed by large language models (e.g., Claude, GPT), including retrieval, tool use, and evaluation.
