Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and established portion control guidelines

• Coordinate food production to ensure meals are prepared and served on time

• Follow standardized recipes and accommodate therapeutic and special dietary requirements

• Accurately prepare menu items, portion sizes, and presentations

• Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment and appliances

• Follow all sanitation and food production standards

• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas

• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• One year of dining services experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or healthcare setting preferred

• Culinary training or formal education is a plus

• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safe food handling practices

• Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
