Job Summary:

Beanstalk Academy, a leading full-service child care and early education provider with 10+ locations in the Bronx and Brooklyn, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pre School Lead Teacher to join our team in Brooklyn, New York. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing childcare experience for our young students, focusing on teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Structure a learning environment that promotes child health and safety

• Plan and lead classroom instruction that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of children

• Actively engage with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about the child’s program

• Implement a developmentally appropriate daily schedule, including the incorporation of transitions and age-appropriate opportunities

• Create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for students that is conducive to learning

• Support implementation of behavior plans and/or IFSP/IEP goals, as appropriate

Requirements:

• BA in ECE (Early Childhood Education) or related field - Study Plan Eligible

• 1+ years of experience in early childhood education
