Job Summary:

As a Food Service Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational management of our food service department, ensuring the highest quality of service and patient satisfaction.

About the Role:

As a Food Service Director at RegalCare at Lowell, you will be responsible for the overall direction and management of our food service operations. This includes:

• Developing and implementing menus, meal plans, and food service programs that meet the nutritional needs of our patients and residents

• Managing a team of dietary staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance

• Coordinating with our clinical and support staff to ensure seamless meal delivery and patient satisfaction

• Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices for food service operations

• Developing and managing department budgets and ensuring cost-effective operations

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of dietary staff, including food service assistants, cooks, and dietitians

• Develop and implement menus and meal plans that meet the nutritional needs of our patients and residents

• Coordinate with clinical and support staff to ensure meal delivery and patient satisfaction

• Manage food service operations, including food procurement, preparation, and service

• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices for food service operations

• Develop and manage department budgets and ensure cost-effective operations

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient satisfaction and outcomes

Requirements:

• FOOD SERVICE DIRECTOR with a minimum of 0 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting

• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring a team

• Ability to develop and implement menus and meal plans that meet the nutritional needs of patients and residents

• Knowledge of food service operations, including food procurement, preparation, and service

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
