The Pavilion at Queens is a 302-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Flushing, Queens. Our mission is to provide the highest level of care for each of our residents. We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality resident care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or Unit Supervisor.

Schedule: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Overnight Shift)

JOB DUTIES:

Measure and record residents’ vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
Monitor residents’ conditions and observe their responses to treatments and medications.
Document resident care, monitor fluid intake and output, and maintain accurate medical records.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including injections, enemas, and wound care.
Collect specimens for laboratory testing as assigned.
Provide emotional support and promote residents’ comfort and well-being.
Communicate with residents’ families and friends regarding care, concerns, and instructions as appropriate.
Report changes in residents’ conditions to the Registered Nurse or Unit Supervisor.
Work collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure residents receive safe, compassionate care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Current New York State LPN license.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to recognize changes in residents’ conditions.
Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively with nursing staff and coordinate resident care.
Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing quality resident care.
Leadership and supervisory abilities preferred.
