Registered Nurse - Bell Minor Home

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Bell Minor Home, a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Gainesville, GA. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents, supervise nursing assistants, and participate in the development and implementation of our quality assurance program.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing physical assessments, and maintaining resident care and comfort

• Supervise nursing assistants and ensure compliance with rules, regulations, and guidelines governing the long-term care industry

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for each resident

• Participate in surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies

• Chart and document resident care, including nurses' notes, medication administration, and treatment plans

• Prepare and administer medications, including IV medications and fluids

• Respond to call lights and other resident needs in a timely and professional manner

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our residents

Essential Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with current state license

• Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills

• Good leadership qualities, organized, and detailed in work performance

• Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience

• Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility

• Comply with Residents' Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures
