Imperial Healthcare Center in La Mirada, California, is looking for a compassionate and motivated Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team!

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with swallowing, speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve residents' functional abilities and quality of life.

• Provide skilled dysphagia management, cognitive rehabilitation, and communication therapy.

• Complete accurate and timely evaluations, progress reports, and treatment documentation.

• Collaborate with nursing, dietary, PT, OT, and other interdisciplinary team members to support resident care.

• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment recommendations and strategies.

• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

• Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license.

• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills.

• Skilled nursing facility experience preferred, but not required.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
