Leisure Glen Post Acute Care Center in Glendale, California, is looking for a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team!

We have a wonderful team of therapists, a welcoming work environment, a convenient Glendale location, and plenty of on-site parking.

We are especially interested in Physical Therapist Assistants who are available to work weekends! Full-time and per diem opportunities are available.

Whether you're an experienced PTA or a new graduate looking to grow your clinical skills, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

• Assist residents in improving strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.

• Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and other appropriate interventions.

• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation.

• Collaborate with our rehabilitation team, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members.

• Educate residents and families on mobility, safety, fall prevention, and therapeutic exercises.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

• Current California PTA license.

• Strong communication, clinical skills, and teamwork abilities.

• Skilled nursing facility experience preferred, but not required.

• New graduates are welcome to apply!

• Weekend availability is highly desirable.
