About the Role:

As a RN/LPN at Avir at John Jones, you will be responsible for:

• Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, dressing wounds, and performing vital signs

• Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective care

• Monitoring patient condition and reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse

• Participating in patient education and discharge planning

• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment

Responsibilities:

• Weekend 12-hour shifts 6a - 6p / 6p - 6a

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care

• Effectively communicate patient needs and concerns to the healthcare team

• Focus on delivering compassionate and personalized care to each patient

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas RN/LPN License

• Valid BLS Certification

• I.V. Certification (Optional)

• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
