As a Diet Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our residents by preparing and serving high-quality meals and snacks. Responsibilities:

• Manage a food service department in a nursing home.

• Plan, order and prepare menus

• Supervise the preparation and service of meals and snacks to residents

• Maintain accurate records of resident food preferences and dietary needs

• Conduct face to face assessments of resident's dietary needs and document in residents' clinical chart

• Assist with inventory management and ordering of food and supplies

• Ensure a clean and safe food service environment by adhering to sanitation and hygiene standards

• Collaborate with our dietary team to provide exceptional resident satisfaction and care

Requirements:

• 1 years of experience in food service or a related field

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
