Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Toms River, NJ.

We’re looking for someone who is patient, gentle, dependable, and supportive, and who enjoys helping another person feel comfortable and included in everyday activities.

Consistency matters: although the hours may be limited, the individual and family rely on the DSP to keep the agreed schedule. A reliable, caring presence can make a meaningful difference.

What You’ll Do 

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community.

• Provide companionship, community support, and assist with personal care and daily routines as needed, following the individual’s support plan.

• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals through activities such as crafts, meal preparation, and community outings

• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs and preferences.

• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment by following individualized support instructions.

• Complete required documentation after each service and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.

• Bring patience, gentleness, dependability, and a supportive attitude to each shift. Consistency matters to the individual and family. 

Qualifications 

• Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule. 

• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one. 

• Experience preferred but not required

• Driving required

• Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training.

Pay: $17-$21/hour
Location: Toms River, NJ
Driving on shift: Required
