• Day Shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM): Full-time and part-time

• Evening Shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM): Full-time and part-time

• Weekday and weekend schedules available

About Us
Woodhaven Adult Home is located just 3 miles south of Port Jefferson’s waterfront village. We are looking for compassionate, dependable Home Health Aides to join our caring team. In this role, you will make a real difference in our residents’ daily lives by providing personalized care and support in a warm, home-like setting.

What You’ll Do

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility

• Provide medication reminders and assist with self-administration as permitted

• Offer companionship and emotional support to residents

• Help with light housekeeping and laundry

• Observe and report any changes in a resident’s condition or behavior

• Work with nurses and other team members to carry out each resident’s individualized care plan

What We’re Looking For

• Current New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) certification

• Recent physical, including drug screen, PPD, and Rubella and Rubeola titers

• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a positive attitude

• Treats every resident with respect, patience, and dignity
