Staff Development Coordinator

As the Staff Development Coordinator, you will design, implement, and oversee training programs for our team. Your expertise and guidance will empower our staff to provide high-quality care and achieve clinical program objectives aligned with our mission

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

1.    Schedules mandated in-services on an annual basis.  Secures appropriate and qualified trainers as necessary.

2.   Prepares and updates annual calendar of in-servicing topics.

3.   Coordinates with all department heads to ensure employee participation at mandated in-services.

4.   Cooperates with Unit Manger/RN Supervisor to ensure timely completion of in-service calendar schedule.

5.   Coordinates orientation of all new employees to meet state and federal requirements.

6.   Coordinates monthly fire drills with Director of Engineering.

7.   Coordinates internship programs with educational institutions utilizing the facility for student's clinical experience.

8.   Keeps records of attendance at in-services for all staff to ensure compliance with facility policies.
