About the Role:

As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals in our dining room

• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment

• Preparing and plating meals according to dietary requirements

• Assisting with food storage, inventory, and ordering

• Providing exceptional customer service to our residents and staff

• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to food safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of meals for special diets, such as modified texture diets and therapeutic diets
• Support the dietary team with food preparation, plating, and presentation
• Maintain accurate inventory and ordering of food and supplies
• Participate in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Provide assistance with serving meals in the dining room
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude and provide excellent customer service to our residents and staff

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food service or a related field preferred

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods of time

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
