Unit Manager LPN or RN Nursing Leadership

Deer Park Health & Rehab, tucked in the mountains of Nebo, provides skilled nursing and rehab care with a team that actually feels like a team. Great resident care starts with strong leaders on the floor, and we’re looking for one to join us.

We’re hiring a Unit Manager (LPN or RN) to lead day-to-day nursing on the unit. This is a Monday through Friday position with a rotating on-call schedule shared across the leadership team.

What you’ll do

• Oversee daily nursing operations and resident care on your unit

• Supervise, coach, and support nurses and CNAs

• Ensure care plans are current, accurate, and followed

• Monitor resident condition and coordinate with physicians, therapy, and families

• Review documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance

• Help with staffing, scheduling, and new staff training

• Participate in QA, survey readiness, and rotating on-call coverage

What you’ll need

• Active, unencumbered LPN or RN license in North Carolina

• LTC or SNF experience required; supervisory experience preferred

• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills

• A calm, hands-on leadership style and a team-first attitude
