TLC Care Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and responsible hourly caregivers for full-time and part-time positions in the Eagle River area. We are looking for caregivers who can provide quality in-home support and safely transport clients to appointments and other necessary destinations.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS:

• Must currently live in Alaska. Alaska residents only.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Must be willing and able to transport clients to appointments as needed.

• No relocation assistance, travel expenses, or housing provided.

• Pay rate: Based on experience and certifications.

• Flexible scheduling options available!

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

• Provide companionship and emotional support.

• Offer medication reminders as directed.

• Safely assist with mobility and transfers, using equipment when needed.

• Prepare simple meals and snacks and perform light housekeeping.

• Transport clients to medical appointments and other necessary destinations.

• Monitor client safety and report concerns to the care coordinator.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

• Responsible, punctual, patient, and compassionate.

• Strong communication and observation skills.

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

• Legally eligible to work in Alaska.
