Independent Living Community Caregiver

Are you a compassionate caregiver who loves helping seniors while working in a professional, team-oriented environment?

Serve Caregiving is seeking exceptional caregivers to support residents living in beautiful, premier independent living communities and seniors in their homes throughout the Garland area.

Pay rate: $18/hr plus a $1 weekend shift differential

Shifts: Flexible shifts working inside independent living communities with both short-visit clients and traditional hourly clients, as well as longer shifts in client homes

Location: Frisco

Your role as a caregiver is about consistency, attentiveness and dignity. The people you care for will depend on you, and that's something we take seriously in how we hire, match and support our caregivers.

What You'll Do

• Companionship and social engagement

• Personal care assistance

• Bathing, dressing, and grooming support

• Medication reminders

• Meal preparation and meal assistance

• Light housekeeping and laundry

• Escort residents within the community

• Transportation to appointments and errands

• Pet care assistance

• Support residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

• Communicate important updates to the care team

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors preferred

• Ability to treat clients with dignity, patience, and respect

• Strong communication skills

• Dependable and professional attitude

• Comfortable assisting with personal care

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Reliable transportation

• CNA experience is a plus, but not required
