Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Nurse to join our team at Livingston Manor Care Center, a unique and small skilled nursing facility. As a QA Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of quality care for our residents. Quality Assurance (QA) Nurse is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality of care provided to our residents, monitoring wounds, Infection prevention, quarterly assessments, and making recommendations for improvement. Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular surveys and assessments to evaluate the quality of care provided to our residents

• Identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for enhancing the quality of care

• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to implement improvements

• Develop and maintain quality care protocols and policies

• Monitor and report on quality metrics and outcomes

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees

Requirements:

• Current RN or LPN license and certification in Missouri

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Proven experience in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
