Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive physical therapy services to patients, helping them regain mobility and improve their overall quality of life. This role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and supervising Physical Therapy assistants to ensure high standards of patient care.

Duties

• Deliver individualized physical therapy treatments to patients to facilitate recovery and improve functional mobility.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions and develop tailored rehabilitation plans.

• Document all aspects of physical therapy interventions accurately and in accordance with clinical documentation standards.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.

• Oversee and co-sign the documentation created by Physical Therapy assistants, ensuring compliance with professional and legal standards.

• Monitor patient progress throughout treatment sessions and adjust therapy plans as needed to optimize outcomes.

• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and post-treatment care strategies.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Licensed Physical Therapist.

• Proven experience in physical therapy, preferably within a clinical or rehabilitative setting.

• Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques, patient assessment, and rehabilitation protocols.

• Familiarity with clinical documentation standards and electronic health record systems.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Excellent communication skills to educate and motivate patients throughout their recovery process.

• Experience supervising or co-signing documentation for Physical Therapy assistants is preferred.
