Job Summary:

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to our residents, managing a team of nursing staff, and ensuring that our high standards of care and compassion are maintained. Responsibilities:

• Assess resident needs and provide necessary nursing care as per resident's care plan

• Manage CNAs and Resident Assistants by carrying out supervisory responsibilities, including training, planning, assigning, and directing work

• Ensure that resident rights are maintained and that medications and treatments are administered in accordance with approved nursing techniques and physician orders

• Document nursing history and physical assessments for assigned patients upon admission

• Respond to life-threatening situations based on nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol

• Participate in department and/or unit performance improvement activities

• Attend in-service training programs and stay up-to-date on safety, infection control, and other relevant policies and procedures

Requirements:

• A minimum of three years of experience in a senior living community, with a minimum of one year of experience in a management/supervisory position

• Current and valid Nursing License

• First Aid and CPR certification

• Criminal record clearance or criminal record exemption, as required by law
