Registered Nurse RN Cardiac PICU – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit - Per Diem

Take your pediatric critical care expertise to the next level with a Per Diem PICU RN opportunity in a high-acuity pediatric environment. This role is ideal for an experienced PICU nurse with Level IV experience and advanced cardiac and ECMO skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Active NY RN License

• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience within the past 3 years

• Level IV PICU experience required

• Cardiac PICU experience required

• ECMO experience required

• BLS certification required

• PALS certification required

• Experience with Bubble CPAP

• Experience with high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV)

• Experience with total body cooling/Tecotherm

• Experience with nasal intubation

• Experience with VADs, including Berlin Ikus, Berlin Active Driver, Impella, or CentriMag

• Experience with CRRT using Prismax

• Post-transplant care experience

• For NICU cardiac assignments, Cardiac PICU or NICU experience is required

• Must be comfortable caring for complex pediatric cardiac and critically ill patients
