Direct Support Professional - Joseph Cox

Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Morris County. 

About This Opportunity 

This can be a great fit for a college student, educator, human-services professional, caregiver, or someone looking for meaningful part-time work. Consistency matters: although the hours may be limited, the individual and family rely on the DSP to keep the agreed schedule. 

What You’ll Do 

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home

• Provide in-home support and engage in activities such as looking at books, being read to, listening to music, and singing. Enjoys spending time outdoors and staying active and engaged throughout the day.

• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals. 

• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs. 

• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions. 

• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team. 

Qualifications 

• Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule. 

• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.  

• Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training. 

Schedule: Sunday's 9:00AM -5:00PM
Pay: 18-22/hr
Location: Boonton NJ 07005
Driving on shift: Not required
