About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehab, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for our residents. Your duties will include:

• Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, grooming, and personal care, to promote independence and self-esteem
• Conducting occupational therapy interventions, such as exercises, activities, and strategies, to improve cognitive, physical, and emotional functions
• Evaluating and documenting resident progress, using data to inform treatment plans and adjust interventions as needed
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including therapists, physicians, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate records of resident care and treatment plans

Requirements:

• 0 years of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) from an accredited institution

• Current OTA certification or licensure in the state of Florida

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet resident needs

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and residents
