About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to design and implement individualized treatment plans for our residents. Your expertise in physical therapy techniques, exercises, and modalities will help our residents achieve their maximum potential for independence, mobility, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans

• Conduct treatment sessions and provide therapy services to residents

• Evaluate resident progress and report to licensed Physical Therapists

• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans

• Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary care conferences to ensure comprehensive care

• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area and ensure proper storage of equipment and supplies

Requirements:

• Minimum of 0 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant studies or related field

• Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Florida

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
