LPN Assisted Living Director (AL Director)

Mariemont Care Center is seeking an experienced LPN Assisted Living Director (AL Director) to oversee daily operations and lead our assisted living team. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is passionate about senior care, has strong leadership skills, and brings previous memory care experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily assisted living operations and resident care.

• Lead, supervise, and support care staff.

• Ensure residents receive compassionate, individualized care.

• Coordinate resident care plans and monitor changes in condition.

• Apply memory care best practices when supporting residents with dementia and other cognitive impairments.

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and healthcare providers.

• Maintain accurate documentation and resident records.

• Ensure compliance with applicable state regulations and facility policies.

• Assist with staffing, scheduling, training, and team development.

• Promote resident dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license in Ohio.

• Memory care experience required.

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or senior living.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on with daily operations.

• Compassion and patience when working with seniors, particularly those living with dementia.
