Floor Tech

CareCore at Meadows is hiring a Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team!

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care duties, including stripping, waxing, buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning.

• Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and effectively.

• Maintain clean and sanitary floors throughout the facility.

• Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed.

• Follow infection control procedures and facility safety guidelines.

• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management.

• Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred.

• Experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or skilled nursing facility is a plus.

• Knowledge of floor cleaning equipment, chemicals, and proper floor care techniques preferred.

• Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and operating equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
