We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at Avir at Alice. As a dietary aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our residents by providing excellent patient care and assistance with daily food service operations.

About the Role:

As a Dietary Aide at Avir at Alice, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting with food preparation, planning, and serving nutritious meals to our residents

• Maintaining a clean and safe dining environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards

• Interacting with residents, families, and staff in a professional and respectful manner

• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall dining experience

• Assisting with dietary and menu planning, as needed

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences

• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing food service equipment and utensils

• Manage food inventory, ordering and receiving supplies as necessary

• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and execute special events and activities

• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• 0 years of experience in a dietary or food service setting (training provided)

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
