Shift Schedule: 6am-2pm

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Home Cook to join our dedicated team at Chestnut Hill Lodge Health and Rehabilitation Center. As a Nursing Home Cook, you will be responsible for preparing meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents. Cook Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals to residents, adhering to dietary restrictions and nutritional needs

• Assist in menu planning and food preparation, ensuring that all meals are delicious and appealing

• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety guidelines

• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure that all meals are delivered on time and to the highest standard

• Participate in inventory management and ordering of supplies and ingredients

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare setting

• Is able to work independently and as part of a team

• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Is able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

• Is committed to providing exceptional care and customer service
